Five years ago to this day, I became a published author with my very first book, The Paler Shade of Autumn. Looking back, I was fresh-faced, optimistic and incredibly naive.
I've learned so much over the years but the biggest, continual lesson is to see this career as a long-term game. Nothing comes easy. Success is not guaranteed--I'm still striving for it. To get each book out there takes a lot of time, determination, perseverance and support.
Since 1 Feb. 2013, I've had published eleven more books. And 2018 is shaping up to be the most productive yet with another three novels written and contracted for publication.
I've had many milestones too, including 2 x number one bestseller tag for Catch Me a Cowboy.
And number one Australian best selling author for The Paler Shade of Autumn.
A big thank you to everyone who has been there with me over the years, offering support in so many different ways--shares, likes, comments, beta-reads, downloads, reviews, edits, acceptances, and kind words.
And to my readers, thank you so much. Without you, I could not keep going.
